Xmas is almost there and the little ones will have soon. We want to spend with them time and keep them entertained, but at the same time doing something “productive”. As we are avid travelers, I asked myself which Xmas gifts for travelers kids can make? Here are three simple but beautiful gifts that can be made with a kid of any age.
The first Xmas gifts kids can make is a personalized luggage tag. This would be a perfect gift for the dad, mom, uncle, aunt, etc.. that is going frequently on business trip. They will think of you every time they are in the airport waiting to check in, every time they store their luggage, every time the get to their hotel room. You can personalized it in many ways and depending of the age of the child. The very young ones can put their hands or feet in paint and stamp the luggage tag. The older children can use stamps and ink to make their own creation. If you have a lot of time, you can let them carving their stamps out of potatoes!!
The second Xmas gifts for travelers kids can make is a travel diary. When we are travelling, we always take a small notebook to write down things to remember for later, i know it’s the old way. But it just feels better than typing in the tablet or mobile. For this gift all you need it’s a nice notebook, some stamps and a lot of imagination. The kids can personalized the cover with stamps, their draws or their hands/feet. They can even make it extra special by randomly writing things in the inside.
In our case, we used the same stamps for the luggage tag and the travel diary. Making them as a combo for our “secret santa”.
The third Xmas gifts is a boarding pass. If you are thinking of surprising your partner with a trip to somewhere, what better way than an awesome boarding pass. This gift is intended for a bit older kids (if they are doing every thing on their own). The only need you would need is a nice paper, a printer, scissors and glue, if you use our template. We created this boarding pass as an invite for our wedding and everyone loved it.
I hope you enjoyed these ideas and have a wonderful time crafting with the little ones. This post is part of the amazing series #Countdown2Xmas! Click below for more!
