Picture of the week: Milford road

We were driving to Milford and as we were approaching the tunnel, the clouds were covering everything more and more. At a point we couldn’t see the mountains anymore, but after a turn we got this view and I asked Paul to stop. He always needs a lot of time to find a “safe” spot to stop and I remind him that we are in NZ, a country with maybe more tourists than locals and a country where everyone stops wherever they want 😉

What I like of this picture is that, without any retouching, the clouds are the perfect frame for the mountain and the road adds the deepness. What do you think?
