Itinerary for a 3 days in Paris
I’m preparing a trip to Paris with my 11 years old.
Day 1– Arrival & Eiffel Tower
Arrival in the afternoon at Gare du Nord and check in at HI Paris Yves Robert.
Head to Eiffel Tower with the Metro Line 6 Trocad’ero or Bir-Hakeim.
If you don’t want to wait, it’s best to buy the tickets in advance. Also becasue the lift tickets to the top are sold out well in advance.
Having prebooked the Eiffel tower will also allow you to add a cruise
Another must do is having lunch or dinner
Day 2 – Flea Market, Montmartre & walking tour (Sunday)
08:30 – Breakfast at hostel or nearby bakery
09:30 – Visit Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen (Clignancourt)
Metro Line 4 to Porte de Clignancourt
Explore main alleys (Vernaison, Dauphine) for quirky treasures and fun vibes
11:30 – Head to Montmartre
Take Metro Line 4 to Barbès-Rochechouart → Line 2 to Anvers
Ride the funicular, visit Sacré-Cœur, and stroll through Place du Tertre
13:00 – Lunch at Le Consulat or crepes nearby
14:30 – Ladybug walk (custom route)
Lycée Carnot (inspiration for Marinette’s school): 145 Blvd Malesherbes (Metro: Wagram)
Pont des Arts – famous scene location
Place des Vosges – picturesque square & bakery inspiration.
Why not taking a cooking class too?
Complete the day with a visit to the Arc du Triumph
Day 3 – Louvre, Notre-Dame & Gardens
08:00 – Breakfast at bakery
09:00 – Visit the Louvre Museum
Another spot where pre-booking tickets will save you a lot of time.
11:30 – Tuileries Garden – Carousel ride, playground, snack break
12:30 – Lunch at Angelina (hot chocolate & kid-friendly options)
14:00 – Île de la Cité & Notre-Dame area
Visit Sainte-Chapelle
Admire Notre-Dame Cathedral exterior
Optional: explore Shakespeare & Company or get a treat at Berthillon (Île Saint-Louis)
**17:00 – Walk across Pont des Arts (Miraculous location!)
18:00 – Dinner or picnic by the Seine
