The best places to eat in Copenhagen with children + win a trip!!

Last March we flew to Copenhagen (as well as Stockholm and Oslo) as winners of the #Icanflysas competition. During our stay in Copenhagen, we tried different places to eat and we have in this post our TOP 3 of the best places to eat in Copenhagen with children.

Post & Tele Museum

On the 5th floor of the museum there’s a roof top café with amazing views of the city. In the summer there’s also an outside terrace, but in the winter you can still enjoy the views as there isn’t any walls but windows.

You might think, why is this cafe child-friendly? First of all in the building there’s a free play centre where the little ones can play for hours. They can collect and deliver letters in a village of little houses, slide in the toboggans, play with in the “trees” and many other activities.

The café itself has chairs for the children and they don’t mind the extra noise of the little ones.

The food was really tasty and in the middle range. The plus point is that they offer healthy choices.

Sporvejen

This place would be Liam’s favorite now as he loves trains and this place is decorated as an old tram. They offer delicious burgers and omelets, during lunch time the prices of both are cheaper than at dinner time and you should get there a bit early if you want to avoid the disappointment that there’s no space (we came just in the right moment, twenty minutes later it was completely full).

The staff is very friendly and they bring you (without asking) some entertainment for the little ones: books as well as an activity sheet and colors.Eating_in_Copenhagen_with children_Sporvejen

Café Sweet Surrender

Sweet Surrender is a non-profit child-friendly café. This was the insider tip from a Danish friend and we really loved the place!! When we entered the café, I was sure it was a place where the children are more than welcome in almost every table there was a family. The place is really cozy and nicely decorated. You can seat in a regular table or like at home in the couch.

They also have toys for the little ones everywhere and you don’t need to worry about your child bordering the guest.

Also the food is really tasty and almost everything is bio. They have special dishes for the children and they even offer raw vegetables (perfect choice for the rapley babies). And as they are non-profit, the prices are low (in comparison with what you pay in Copenhagen.

Sweet post and a unique perspective on visiting Copenhagen. Those early days traveling with a little one are precious. Exhausting but precious and then suddenly they’re grown!

I think it isn’t very common. Besides this cafe, I haven’t found any other non-profit. Or at least not in the same way

Oh, how I wish I could visit Copenhagen and how I wish I could visit it with my grandson who is about your baby’s age. You are a great parent for taking your baby wherever you go. I loved traveling with my son when he was so young. Thanks for joining #TheWeeklyPostcard, Shere.

Thanks Anda!! for us it feels weird to go on holiday without the little one (and in a couple of months with the second baby). Some time is hard but we enjoy it a lot.

These all seem fab places! I think my son would adore the one decorated like a tram, while my daughter would have a ball delivering letters. I hope we can go to Copenhagen, sounds like a great place for kids! #theweeklypostcard

Copenhagen is really child-friendly. They have also many indoor activities and sights, which for the winter are perfect!
