OnTheRoad: we have arrived in Auckland!

¡Por fin hemos llegado, después de 23 horas de avión y 2 horas de espera en Seoul! El primer vuelo se me ha pasado “rápido”, en el segundo ha habido un momento en el que estaba muy cansada y todavía quedaban 6 horas de vuelo. Así es que he recurrido a la meditación: me he puesto un antifaz y a escuchar un ejercicio de meditación guiada y en menos de veinte minutos estaba sopa. Cuando empecé con las clases de yoga me costaba mucho la parte de relajación ( mi cabeza seguía pensando), pero ahora hay muchas semanas en que la profesora me tiene q “traer de vuelta” 😉

We finally arrived, after 23 hours flying and 2 hours of waiting in Seoul! The first flight went rather quick, but in the second one I started struggling and there were still 6 hours remaining. I decided to try my meditation. I put my eye mask on and one guided meditation exercise and within twenty minutes I was sleeping. When I first start the yoga classes I found difficult to calm my mind, but now most of the times the teacher has to “bring me back” 😉

La verdad es que el aeropuerto de Seul es increíble, está muy bien preparado para entretener a los turistas durante las escalas. No sólo para entretenerles sino también para ofrecerles todo lo necesario durante el tiempo que dure la escala: tiene una zona de relax en le que ofrecen duchas gratis (hasta te dan toallas), aparte de todas las tiendas que uno se pueda imaginar también tienen espacios dedicados a “experiencias culturales” en los que puedes hacer talleres gratuitos y aprender a hacer manualidades coreanas. Si a la vuelta me da tiempo haré uno, no quería ir cargada con un cuenco de papel-cartón todo el mes.
The truth is that Seoul’s airport is great and well prepared to entertain the tourist during the stop-over. Not only to entertain them, but also to offer them everything that is needed during that time: there’s a relax zone in which you can have a free hot shower (they even provide you with towels for free), not only a lot of shops, but also free “cultural experiences” to learn Korean crafts. If I have time in the way back, I’ll follow one. Today I didn’t want to carry a paper bowl a month long 🙂
